Wanzhou, with a history of over 1,700 years, is located on the banks of the Yangtze River and occupying a central position at the Three Gorges reservoir area. The district is centrally located between the 600 kilometers waterway between Chonqging and Yichang.

The large number of rivers leading into the city provided a convenience gathering point for traders leading to the fast pace of development. It has historically been the logistics center for the surrounding provinces of Sichuan, Hubei, Shanxi, Hunan and Guizhou.

With Wanzhou becoming a most important industrial and commercial district of Chongqing, it presents immense opportunities for new companies to open up further within the surrounding 100,000 square kilometers radius.
 

Wanzhou is a famous city with numerous natural attractions such as the Dragon Waterfall, Wulong Lake, Forestry Park Natural Bridge, Taibai Study Room, West Hill Stone Carving and Emperor's City. The world famous Yangtze Three Gorges, Little Three Gorges on the Daning River, Unique Natural Cave and the earth's Crevice Shibao Pogoda, White King City and Zhang Fei's Temple.
